I'm Alida,

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to color, light, and the small details most people pass by. I was the kid who arrived late to school because I stopped to collect every leaf that caught my eye, and the teenager who cut windows into cardboard boxes to frame the sky like a painting. 

Being a graphic designer truly makes me happy, and I’m grateful for the career I’ve built. But painting is the quiet corner of my world where my inner voice feels the most alive.

My work explores natural landscapes and everyday objects transformed through light, shadow, and color. Working primarily in oil and acrylic, I use bold contrasts alongside subtle transitions to capture the atmosphere and emotional energy of a special moment. Through my paintings, I hope to create a quiet pause in the pace of daily life — an invitation to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the beauty that often goes unnoticed.
